An international manufacturer of building materials was planning to expand its product portfolio. In order to ensure that the expansion would provide added value for the company and to be able to position the future product optimally, a market analysis was to be carried out.
Cedura analysed the overall market, in particular the general conditions, potential customers and competitors, and determined the market structure, the current market size and the predicted market potential for the next five years in the German-speaking region.
The results were presented after a project duration of around 8 weeks and served the client’s management as a basis for deciding which fields of application should be investigated in more detail.
With the help of an online survey and qualitative expert interviews, the potential turnover and the required product qualities were determined for the selected fields.
Based on this data, the investment decision could then be made by our client as reliably and soundly as possible.
